Detailed Description : Nineteenth century French sculptor Emile Guillemin's bust of Dante Alighieri is the definitive rendering of the famous Italian poet. It makes a great addition to a scholarly den or library.
Our casting of this piece features a rich patina finish with subtle tonal variation in the wreath encircling Dante's head. It is mounted onto a marble base, stands 12" high and is signed "Ele. Guillemin" in the bronze. It has been crafted from the finest bronze in the hands of the talented artisans in our own California art foundry, and will endure for centuries as a tribute to Dante.
