About the Art: The ascent to the top was arduous and time consuming. Each new step caused the earth to shift and so he needed to take care and watch for firm places to walk. A misplaced hoof would cost him the journey. But strong legs and keen instinct directed his step, keeping him balanced on a trail no wider than a pencil. As he scaled the rocky crag he left the earth behind even as he was gaining ground.
