The pair of eagles flying overhead calls to the mind the words of Isaiah 40:3 - "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles."
There are three ducks within the work. A male and female are swimming among the cattails and the third nearly blending completely into the background.
Hidden throughout the painting is a family of bunnies, four to be exact. Can you find them all?
The thunderous waterfall seen in the distance is the setting of the third painting in the Places of Reflection series and the final destination of this spiritual journey. It reminds us that with deeper commitments come greater revelations.
