About the Artist
Anna Razumovskaya is celebrated worldwide for her romantic and expressive figurative art. Born during the Cold War, she grew up amid contrasting influences - the austerity of her surroundings and the elegance of her mother's fashion sensibilities. She graduated with honors from the Russian State University for Arts in 1991 and further honed her artistic skill in Germany, Belgium, and Holland.
Her work draws inspiration from classical masters like Rembrandt, Valentin Serov, Peter Paul Rubens, and John Singer Sargent. Using fluid brushstrokes and radiant tones, Razumovskaya creates poetic depictions that blend realism with dreamlike ambience, transporting the viewer into moments of grace and emotion.
Today she resides in Canada, where her art continues to gain international acclaim through exhibitions in cities such as New York, Paris, Toronto, Amsterdam, and Berlin. Each of her paintings is instantly recognizable for its distinctive warmth and rhythmic composition.
