Detailed Description : This unusual subject for a bronze statue captures the viewer with its whimsical charm. It has been crafted of the finest bronze by the talented artisans in our own California art foundry. "Elephant on Ball" is finished with a rich patina fused into the metal under extremely high heat so it will endure virtually unchanged for hundreds of years. The bronze is mounted onto a marble base, and stands 12" high by 13" wide by 7" deep.
About the Sculpture: Made in the U.S.A. certified pure bronze. Featuring recasts of hundreds of significant bronzes. Setting the standard in hand cast bronzes in the superior Lost Wax Process (Cire Perdue). Clay to wax to bronze-the lost wax process is a method for changing a sculpture made of soft clay into a harder material such as bronze, which captures the most minute detail of the artists original work.
