Detailed Description : This larger of two tigers sculpted by famed animal artist Antoine-Louis Barye (1795-1875) is mounted onto a marble base, stands 11.5" high by 24.5" wide, and is signed "BARYE" in the bronze. It has been crafted of the finest pure bronze by the talented artisans working in our own California art foundry, and boast a deep, rich patina finish. This is an artwork whose quality of sculpting and casting ensures that it will be treasured for generations.
