Detailed Description : This classic bronze by French master Antoine-Louis Bayre (1795-1875) stops the action in the midst of a fierce tiger hunt. The hunter, sitting astride his rearing horse, focuses on the large tiger as it swings to attack its attacker.
This artwork has been cast of the finest pure bronze by the talented artisans working in our own California art foundry. It boasts a gorgeous patina finish applied with high heat so that it permanently fuses into the bronze itself. The piece is mounted onto a marble base, stands an impressive 28" high by 30" wide, and is signed by the artist in the bronze.
