Detailed Description : This impressive bronze of a lovely dreaming lady was originally sculpted by noted French artist Edouard-Louis Collet circa 1910. She is depicted floating in peaceful slumber, a nightime star atop her head, with her feet suspended off the ground.
The artwork is finished with a truly stunning patina, particularly on her draped robe of marbleized royal blue with tiny polished bronze stars. The patina finish has been applied under very high heat so that it permanently fuses into the bronze itself. This is a work of art that will endure to be treasured for hundreds of years.
