Detailed Description : This large bronze is one of a famous pair originally modelled in stone for Louis XIV's chateau at Marly and that now stand at the entrance to the Champs Elysees in Paris.
The piece stands an impressive 24" in height and weighs 69 lbs. This artwork is crafted of the very finest silicon bronze by the talented artisans in our California foundry, and is finished with a gorgeous, rich patina that is permanently fused into the metal under extreme heat. This work of art will last to be enjoyed for hundreds of years.
