Detailed Description : This superb knight is one of a related pair by 19th Century French artist Maurice Favre (see also Item No. 391A). It has exceptional detail in its armor and banner, and even the visor is functional. It has been cast from the finest pure bronze by the talented artisans in our California art foundry, and is sure to last for hundreds of years.
The Knight stands 29" high, weighs a substantial 44 lbs., and is signed "Maurice Favre" in the bronze. Paired with Favre's other Knight, they make an extraordinary set of bookends for the medieval history buff, and are attractive flanking a fireplace.
About the Sculpture: Made in the U.S.A. certified pure bronze. Featuring recasts of hundreds of significant bronzes. Setting the standard in hand cast bronzes in the superior Lost Wax Process (Cire Perdue).
