Detailed Description : This artwork by noted California artist Bill Layne depicts a lovely mermaid cavorting in the sea with a playful dolphin, both leaping out of a frothy sea. It features an exquisite patina finish using the blues and greens of the ocean with the deep, rich bronze tones of the skin. The colors are permanently fused into the surface of the bronze, so this piece will endure to be treasured by future generations.
"Playmates" is available exclusively through Andevan Bronzeworks in a limited edition of just 100 castings. This artwork is mounted onto a fossilized travertine marble base, stands 21.5" tall by 10" wide by 16" deep, and is signed "bill Layne" in the bronze.
