About the Artist: Artist Keith Goodson was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida in 1971 and soon moved with his parents to Avon Park, Florida, where he graduated from Avon Park High School. Since the age of six, when Keith won a prize for a drawing of an elephant, there was never any doubt that he would pursue an art career. While in high school Keith won numerous first place awards. Among them were the Florida Art League Award and the Most Outstanding Art Student in the History of Avon Park High School.

He studied at the South Florida Community College for two years and then went to work for a major motion picture production company where he designed and painted murals for plays and movie sets. Keith also worked for independent contractors around the state of Florida doing detailed drawings and paintings of homes before they were built. He also works with several interior decorators around the state doing murals, marbleizing and faux painting, which is the art of fooling the eye.

Keith has worked as stage manager for several years for Carpenter's Home Church in Lakeland, Florida, which has a 10,000 seat auditorium and international recognition. Here he designed and painted their newest set for the Gospel According to Scrooge, a grand Christmas play which is televised to a world-wide audience and seen by 50,000 people at the church. The set received First Place for the National Mural Competition represented by the Atlanta Air-Storm Art competition.

In 1993 Keith painted his first mural for the Lake Placid Mural Society called "Bassin" and won first place in the National Air Brush Action Magazine competition for billboard and murals. "Bassin" was also entered in the Best of Air Brush published by Rockport Publishers. He was immediately commissioned to paint the mural "Istokpoga."

In 1994 he completed one of the largest murals in Lake Placid of the "Cracker Trail Cattle Drive", which is the largest representation of the cattle industry east of the Mississippi. Among these he has completed others one depicting the Florida Citrus Industry.

In 1997 he recently was commissioned by the University of Florida for the Gator's football team to do the official painting for Danny Wuerffel excepting the Heisman Trophy and winning the National Championship. The painting was printed as a limited edition print and were signed by Keith and Danny Wuerffel.

In June of 1997 and to present Keith founded The Master's Brush, Inc. Keith's vision for the company is to see that the Glory of God is once again seen through the arts.

The first inspirational piece to be released was "I Am" and is now being distributed internationally. Keith is now working on several more pieces that will be available in the near future.

Keith's style and versatility can be seen in his works from surrealistic collages to photo-realistic images that make you look twice. No matter what the image is it's sure to make a statement.
