About the Artist: Meet Tim, a humble and passionate artist who captures nature with fine brushstrokes. His love for art shines through every painting, showcasing a variety of landscapes inspired by firsthand observation of nature. Tim integrates science into his method of painting and is rooted in realism, inspired by The Hudson River School. He has been featured in numerous shows and received various honors, including Best of Show at the 2018 National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society Best of America Exhibit. Tim believes that no art is original, and returns to the original work created by God for inspiration.
About the Art: The Maroon Bells in Colorado can be found southwest of Aspen. The view from Maroon Lake is both stunning and accessible. The lake was formed in the glacial valley by a rockslide thousands of years ago. Purposeful designers could not have done a better job. The two peaks, Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak, are named after the maroon mudstone that is predominant in the valley.
When I stand before a place like this, I can’t help but wonder about the history and the people that have traveled this way in the past.
