- While the magic of Old Saint Nick fills the hearts of all those who love Christmas, he is not the only one responsible for our yule-tide holiday traditions. He may deliver the toys to the millions of deserving children on his nice list, but it is the North Pole Elves that make the gifts in the amounts needed to fill the space under the tree. Santa's little helpers are there to launch Santa and his bountiful sack on his hurried flight to the houses of all believers. He needs them to fulfill his Christmas Eve calling. Zac Kinkade tries to capture the enchantment and practical effort of these magic helpers in his latest holiday painting, Santa’s Little Helper.
A young elf (or maybe ancient) works tirelessly at his table as he creates a toy train to delight its soon-to-be recipient. The portrait of Santa bears witness to the task as the job is complete.
