About the Art: The noted and quite multifacted Hanna-Barbera artist Bob Singer has recreated the Flintstones Main Title sequence "storyboard," reproduced as a signed and remarqued collectible limited edition Giclee print. A storyboard is the first translation of a story line from the written word to the visual world. Using individual frames much alike a comic strip, the storyboard "maps out" the action in terms of the characters' actions and movements, as well as the background through which they move. The title sequence from the award-winning Flintstones animated television series was drawn in pencil and augmented in color with the trademark Flintstones logo treatement and an overview of the town of Bedrock, from the Flintstones famed home, to their local neighborhood drive-in theater. The print features one blank panel which the artist personalized with a character drawing.
