About the Artist: Meet Tim, a humble and passionate artist who captures nature with fine brushstrokes. His love for art shines through every painting, showcasing a variety of landscapes inspired by firsthand observation of nature. Tim integrates science into his method of painting and is rooted in realism, inspired by The Hudson River School. He has been featured in numerous shows and received various honors, including Best of Show at the 2018 National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society Best of America Exhibit. Tim believes that no art is original, and returns to the original work created by God for inspiration.

There are times during some snowfalls where the wind is still, and large flakes settle slowly. The loudest sounds are one’s own footsteps and labored breathing from the hike at altitude. After a pause the breathing slows and is replaces by a noticeable absence of sound. During the muted silence the snow clouds that hang over and around the trees and stream are pierced by rays of warm sunlight. The muted shadows become cool and bluer in comparison to the warm sunlit areas. There, in that place, both stillness and light share the same moment, and everything is right in the world. - Tim Breaux
