About the Artist: Don Demers
Don Demers, born in 1956 in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, developed a lifelong passion for maritime subjects while spending summers on the coast of Maine near Boothbay Harbor. He studied at the School of the Worcester Art Museum and the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. Demers combined his sailing experience aboard traditional vessels with finely honed artistic skills, creating evocative marine and landscape paintings. A Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists and an award-winning illustrator, his work appears in leading publications and is cherished by collectors worldwide.
