About the Art: This is Glacier National Park during the salmon run. The waters literally ran red with salmon and hundreds of eagles blanked the trees on the riverbanks, swooping down en masse to feed on these incredibly powerful fish. Sadly, this awesome spectacle of nature is a thing of the past. Dams on area rivers have decimated the salmon and correspondingly, the numbers of eagles, grizzlies and other predators have diminished.
