From the Artist: McClellan Creek is a mountain stream in western Montana. It is typical of many Rocky Mountain streams. The idea was to capture the deep shadows of the forest and the morning sunlight in the clear mountain atmosphere. The mule deer doe in the shadows is only incidental.
