About the Artist: As a Minnesota-based artist, Aubrey Freeman travel to all sorts of fun detsinations, his suportive family and the opportunity to create art. This fine artist believes in the power of his work. Aubrey says: I began painting in 2001 as the result of a Christmas present. I have been continuously painting ever since. My wife says that the canvas is my mistress. My day job is technical writer, working on a computer screen all day. I also teach composition for Kaplan University, an online course but another hook onto a computer screen. In the evening when I do not have a seminar or grading to do, I prefer looking at a canvas. My style varies because I never want to try the same style twice in a row. My landscapes and portraits are figments of my imagination. If you want a picture of something real, get a camera.
