Artwork Description:
Set beneath the glow of the harvest moon, Abraham Hunter’s “Harvest Moon” captures a peaceful countryside scene filled with the promise of autumn. Hunter describes the painting as a summer project that demanded considerable time and effort, inspired by a place he would love to call home.
In the artist’s words: “With the harvest moon coming up this oil painting seems to be pretty aptly timed. This was one of my summer projects that I put a ton of time and effort into this year. After a very long and trying summer, I sure am hoping for a cool and colorful fall. This piece features another place I'd love to call home and I hope you enjoy it.” — Abraham Hunter
