Davy Jones, Peter York, Mickey Dolenz, and Michael Nesmith, are The Monkees, an iconic American rock and pop band that burst on to the scene in the 1960’s.
In December 1966 The Monkees released their single I’m a Believer. Within two days of release the song went gold making everyone a believer in the imaginary TV band. The famous lyrics, “Then I saw her face, now I’m a believer. Not a trace of doubt in my mind. I’m in love. I’m a believer, I couldn’t leave her if I tried,” would go on to be sung throughout generations and today continues to introduce new fans to the legendary band.
