- Giclee on Paper “Black Adam” was created as a cover for Black Adam: The Dark Age. One of the world’s foremost wielders of magic, Black Adam has been both hero and villain during his long existence. Teth-Adam or Mighty Adam is an ancient Egyptian who is chosen by the wizard Shazam to be his predecessor thousands of years before Billy Batson took up the mantel. Succumbing to his desire for power, Mighty Adam kills the ruling pharaoh and is thus transformed from hero to villain called Black Adam.
