About the Artist: RUSS KRAMER is President of Russ Kramer Creative, Inc., a full-service creative agency specializing in illustration and graphic design, publication, packaging and merchandise design. With an extensive background in advertising, marketing and print and video production, Kramer was previously an editor and executive with Knight-Ridder newspapers, and is currently active as a newspaper design consultant. His primary talent has always been artistic, and his fascination for the sea and ships led early to a love of marine painting. A great admirer of the work of Carl G. Evers, John Michael Groves and Geoff Hunt among marine artists, Mr. Kramer is anxious for the day when, he too, can paint nothing but water and wind and the great ships, and devote himself to a career of painting full-time. He is an experienced boater and has spent time living aboard his 48' Hatteras, WATERCOLOR.
