Frank Sherwin was a British painter, born in 1896. He studied in Derby and London, showing an interest in landscapes and seascapes alike. He often worked in oils, but specialised in watercolours.
Sherwin was best known for his illustrations of British holiday destinations. These were popularised as poster prints, promoting railway travel across the country. He frequently exhibited in London and Liverpool, at galleries and the Royal Academy.
