About the Art: “The first cutting horse I ever rode was Tarimocha,” he said. “She was a gray mare that Dick Gaines had. She’s the one that really got me hooked. “The first [cutting scene] I did was of Dick Gaines on Tarimocha. It was called ‘Face to Face,’ and it was used for the NCHA Futurity poster [in 1995]. The cutting horse paint- ings I’ve done are still some of my favorites.” ~Tim Cox~
