About the Artist:Ron Van Gilder is a dedicated sportsman who has spent his entire life studying and learning both in the field and at the easel. Ron believes the reason for his success is the result of painting from personal experiences. He devotes 3 months each fall to field study, using methods such as hinting, observation, and photography.
