Detailed Description : This is an exceptionally fine casting of the classic battle between the bull and the bear by Isidore-Jules Bonheur (1827-1901). The detail is marvelous in this piece, and the quality of the bronze work and its patina finish distinguishes it as a cut above other versions of this famous statue. As with all of the bronzes we cast, this artwork has been made of the finest pure bronze in the hands of the talented artisans in our California art foundry. The patina finish has been applied under extreme heat to fuse into the metal itself, so this is a sculpture that will surely last for hundreds of years.
