Detailed Description : This is a classic rendition of Diana the Huntress by famed 19th century French sculptor Guillaume Coustou. It depicts a beautiful Diana, Roman goddess of the hunt, heading off with a bow in her left hand and a quiver of arrows slung across her beautifully draped shoulder. The artwork stands a substantial 26.5" high, and is signed "Coustou" in the bronze.
This statue has been crafted of the finest pure bronze by the team of talented artisans in our own California art foundry. You will not find a finer example anywhere. The piece is finished with a gorgeous classical patina that is permanently fused into the bronze under very high heat.
