Detailed Description : This substantial bronze was originally sculpted circa 1886 by Pierre-Nicolas Tourgueneff. We created a mold from Tourgueneff's original casting, so this piece offers exceptional detail. It stands a full 39" high by 24" wide, weighs roughly 90 lbs., and is signed "PIERRE TOURGUENEFF" in the bronze.
The piece was crafted of the finest pure bronze by the talented artisans working in our own California art foundry, and boasts a deep, rich patina finish that is permanently fused under high heat into the metal. This is a classic artwork that will last to be treasured by future generations.
