Detailed Description : This delightful bronze statue of a Puritan youth was originally sculpted by French artist Emile Victor Blavier in 1854. Our casting of this piece uses the finest pure bronze in the hands of the talented artisans working in our own California art foundry. It has been finished with a beautiful patina applied under very high heat so that it has actually fused with the bronze itself. This is a quality work of art that will endure for generations.
"The Happy Wanderer" is mounted onto a marble base, stands 22.5" high by 9" wide, and is signed "E Blavier 1854" in the bronze.
